Shipping, Returns & Refunds

1. How Ordering Works

We do not take payment on this website. The shop does not hold your card details and no gateway runs on it. Placing an order sends us a request, and the sequence is:

1. You send the order request from the shop. Nothing is charged.
2. We contact you to confirm the items, the total, and what delivery to your address costs — particularly for an address outside India, or one the courier reaches slowly.
3. Once you confirm by email, we send payment details.
4. We dispatch after the payment clears, and confirm dispatch by email.

Nothing is binding until you confirm at step 3. An order request you never confirm simply lapses, and you owe nothing.

2. Who You Are Buying From

Every item in the shop is sold directly by Aryan Ladakh Tour & Travel, trading as Ladakh Bikers, from Karzu Rd, Leh, Ladakh 194101, India. We are the seller of record. There is no marketplace, no third-party vendor and no dropshipper between you and us.

3. Country of Origin

All merchandise is made in India, produced in and around Ladakh. Prices shown are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes.

4. Where We Ship

• Within India: we ship anywhere in the country.
• Outside India: on request. Write to us before ordering and we will confirm whether we can reach your address and what the postage will cost. International orders are not dispatched until that is agreed, and any customs duty or import tax at your end is yours to pay.

Dispatch from Leh depends on the season. Winter road and air links to Ladakh are interrupted by snow, and an order placed in that period may take noticeably longer to leave than one placed in summer. We will tell you if that affects your order rather than leave you guessing.

5. Returns

• Window: 7 days from the day your order is delivered. Tell us within those 7 days at grievance@ladakhbikers.com with your order number.
• Condition: unused, unwashed and in its original packaging with any tags still attached. We cannot resell worn apparel, so we cannot accept it back.
• Return postage: paid by you. The one exception is below.
• If the fault is ours — the item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered — we pay the return postage and you get the full amount back including the original shipping. Send us a photograph and we will arrange it.

6. Refunds

Once your return reaches us and passes inspection, we refund within 14 days, by the same route you paid us — to the UPI ID or bank account the payment came from. Because payment is arranged with us directly rather than through a gateway on this site, we may ask you to confirm those details before we send the money. How quickly it then appears is up to your bank, and is outside our control.

Return postage you paid is not refunded, except where the fault was ours as described above.

7. Exchanges

For a different size or colour, treat it as a return and place a new order. It is faster than an exchange, because we do not have to hold your item while the replacement is picked, and you are not left waiting on stock that may not be there.

8. Cancelling an Order

You can cancel free of charge at any time before your order is dispatched. If you have not paid yet there is nothing to refund and nothing to do beyond telling us. If you have paid, we refund in full on the same 14-day timetable. Once it has been handed to the courier it becomes a return under section 5.

9. Complaints — Grievance Officer

If something has gone wrong with an order, contact our Grievance Officer. This is the same officer named in our Privacy Policy, and the timelines are those required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month of receiving it.

10. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing on this page reduces the rights the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 gives you. Where anything here conflicts with that Act, the Act applies.
