Seasonal Market Insight
Rates across Leh climb with the tourist rush in June and July. Ours do not — the Himalayan 450 stays at its published $40/day for the whole season, and every rate on this page is the rate you are quoted at the workshop.

Not included
- ✗ Fuel — every motorcycle is handed over with a dry tank, and the nearest pump is 1.5 km from the workshop
- ✗ Riding gear beyond the helmet — jackets, knee guards and gloves are hired separately from our gear room
- ✗ The government fee for the Inner Line Permit itself, which you pay to the Ladakh administration
- ✗ Crash damage, lost keys, and theft of accessories
Rental terms
- Minimum age
- 21 years, with a valid motorcycle licence
- Security deposit
- $110 to $270 depending on the motorcycle, refundable in full when you bring it back. Taken at the Leh base camp when you collect the bike, and itemised against the handover photographs if anything is damaged.

What to bring
- Indian nationalsA valid motorcycle driving licence and an Aadhaar card.

WHERE TO PICK UP?
Our primary workshop and dispatch base camp is located on Karzu Rd, Leh. You can drop off your documents, finalize your security deposits, and test ride your motorcycle prior to setting off.

RENTAL FAQS
What documents do I need to submit?
Indian riders require a valid Motorcycle License and Aadhar Card. Foreign nationals must provide passport copies, tourist visa, and International Driving Permit (IDP).
Is fuel included in the daily rental rate?
No, all rental motorcycles are handed over with a dry tank. A fuel station is located 1.5km from our workshop. We can pre-fill fuel at actual market cost upon request.
What is the cancellation policy?
Full refund for cancellations made 15 days prior to pickup. 50% refund for cancellations within 7-14 days. No refunds within 7 days of rental start date.
Can I take a Manali / Himachal rental bike to Pangong & Khardung La?
No. Outside rental bikes (bearing HP, DL, or PB plates) are permitted strictly on National Highways (NH3 / NH1D) for transit into Leh. By Leh Bike Union regulations, outside commercial rentals are banned from internal sightseeing zones (Khardung La, Nubra, Pangong, Hanle, Umling La). For internal circuits, you must switch to a locally registered LA-02 rental bike from Leh.
Do you provide breakdown recovery?
Yes, in case of terminal mechanical failure we can coordinate towing or dispatch a replacement bike. Minor punctures/adjustments must be done at local villages.
