GROUND HANDLING FOR TOUR OPERATORS
Aryan Ladakh Tour & Travel has run motorcycle expeditions out of Leh since 2015. We supply fleet, mechanics, support vehicles, permits and road captains to operators selling Ladakh, Spiti and Kashmir under their own brand. This page is our capability statement. Net rates are on request and go out the same way to everyone who asks.
WHAT WE SUPPLY
- Royal Enfield fleet — Himalayan 450, Himalayan 411, Classic 350, Thunderbird 350X, Classic 500. All LA-02 commercially registered, which is the plate class required for the internal Ladakh circuits. A non-LA-02 bike is turned back regardless of the rider.
- 4x4 support vehicle with driver, carrying luggage, spares, fuel reserve, medical oxygen, pulse oximeter and first-aid kit on every departure.
- Royal Enfield master mechanic riding with the group, plus a 30-point pre-ride mechanical check at our Karzu Rd workshop.
- Native Ladakhi road captains working in English, Hindi, Ladakhi and Urdu.
- Inner Line Permit and Protected Area Permit processing at the Leh magistrate's office, including the printed checkpost copies.
- Accommodation blocks — hotels in Leh and Kargil, fixed camps at Pangong, Sarchu, Hanle and Nubra.
- Airport transfers at Leh (IXL), and Srinagar or Manali start-point handling on the highway routes.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
- No rescue or evacuation service. Evacuation from our routes is by road to Leh. Your clients must be briefed on that before they book, and their insurers told.
- No travel insurance, and no cover of any kind for your clients. Your riders must carry policies covering motorcycling above 4,000 m.
- No foreign-language tour leaders. If your clients need German, Spanish, French or Italian throughout, bring your own leader — we handle everything under them.
- No access to sectors closed to foreign nationals. Umling La, Mig La, Chushul, Demchok, Tsaga La and Loma cannot be permitted for a foreign passport by us or by anyone. Any operator telling you otherwise is selling your clients a checkpost turnaround.
- No bonded or escrowed client money. We are an Indian company outside UK ATOL and EU package-insolvency schemes — your consumer protection obligation stays yours.
- No winter operation. The season runs roughly May to September; the workshop and the passes close together.
REGIONS WE GROUND-HANDLE
Ladakh
May – SeptemberLeh-based loops and the Manali and Srinagar highways. Khardung La, Nubra, Shyok, Pangong, Tso Moriri, Hanle. Our home ground — own fleet, own workshop, own permit desk.
Spiti
June – SeptemberManali or Shimla entry through Kaza and Kunzum La, including the Spiti-to-Ladakh traverse. Handled from Leh with partner accommodation blocks along the valley.
Kashmir
May – OctoberSrinagar start-point handling, Zoji La, Drass and Kargil. Longer weather window than the Leh circuits but the most closure-prone on security grounds.
COMMERCIAL TERMS
- Net rates: Per rider per day, by group size band and service tier, in US dollars. Sent on request — see the form below. There is one trade rate card and every operator gets the same one.
- Blocked departures: We hold dates and fleet against a signed block. Availability for the 2027 season is open now; tell us the dates and rider numbers and we confirm what we can hold.
- Contracting entity: Aryan Ladakh Tour & Travel, Karzu Rd, Leh, Ladakh 194101, India. Registered under the Tourism Department, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council. Indian law governs.
- Liability position: We carry responsibility for the services we supply — fleet condition, mechanical support, permits, transport and accommodation. We do not carry your client contract, and we are not an insurer. Riders assume the risk of high-altitude motorcycling, and that has to be papered by you as it is by us.
- Season: Roughly May to September for the full high-pass circuits. The Manali and Srinagar highways open later and close earlier than the Leh-based loops; we confirm pass status before each departure rather than publishing an opening date we cannot control.
REQUEST THE NET RATE CARD
Trade enquiries route to our commercial inbox, separately from rider bookings. No qualifying call required — tell us what you need and the rates come back by email.
